¿Que pasaria si juntamos el Garage-Punk en alza con la presencia imponente de una Front Man con una voz prodigiosa y mucho nuevo que aportar?
Sin duda la respuesta es Yeah Yeah Yeahs, un grupo de Garage Punk de Nueva York formado por la cantante Karen O, el guitarrista Nicolas Zinner y el batería Brian Chase, cabe destacar que como ya marco la tendencia The White Stripes no tienen bajo en ninguna de sus composiciones.
¿Influencias? Probablemente el Garage Rock, el Punk neoyorquino de los 70, el New Wave y el Noise-Pop, aun que tambien recuerden a grupos tan dispares como New York Dolls, Siouxsie & The Banshee y The Cramps.

Su voz es prodigiosa, por su belleza me recuerda a otros dos grandes cantantes como son Björk o Jón Þór (si, se que es hombre, pero e de admitir la belleza de su voz), sin duda una cantante genial con una voz preciosa.
